In our group classes, the most important factor is that your dog learns how to behave around other people and dogs. Not only is it crucial that your dog learn how to heel, sit, come and stay, but that they learn to perform those commands reliably while exposed to the distractions of other dogs and people. An important part of our program is dog socialization...a trained dog is one that is not only a pleasure to have at home but also in public places.

In our program, not only do owners become great friends but so do the dogs. We encourage you to come by and watch our classes!

snakebite avoidance
training

When the weather starts to heat up, snakes come out of their burrows seeking the warmth of the sun. That means higher chances of encountering snakes while you're out on a walk or hike with your dog, or even in your own backyard! Protect your dog through this avoidance training class.

This class is offered seasonally or by request. Please contact us for more information.

Tom really knows his stuff! Both my pups as well as my nephews pups took his beginners course and they have all done so well. I highly recommend Companions R Us Dog Training. One of my pups was dog aggressive on leash, but after completing this group training class with Tom Fisher, we can now take her anywhere without her going insane when she sees other dogs. We are so happy with the results!

- Claudia S.

Tom has trained our dogs, my family’s dogs, and our friends dogs. The lessons have always been professional and effective. In my opinion, Tom is a wonderful dog trainer and is Chino’s “Dog Whisperer.” I have never seen him be anything but kind and understanding to all his clients and their dogs. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my dogs training needs.

- John G.

He trained all three of my dogs before they passed. They became the best trained dogs I ever had! He is the best around to this day with any breed! Truly a dog whisperer!

Tom is the best. We just finished the beginners class with him. We have had nothing but success and in a short amount of time. I highly recommend Tom. He has a great understanding of dog’s behavior. He is a great, knowledgeable trainer and makes it fun in class. He has taught us a lot. It also worth noting that we drive all the way from Orange County to train with Tom. There are plenty of trainers that are closer but we wouldn’t think of training with anyone else.

- Margaret R.

Not only is he the best trainer around giving you every opportunity to have the best dog ever. But this man helped me out when my dogs were in need and I couldn’t be there. I will ever be indebted to him for his kindness.

Tom Fisher, whose business is Companions R Us, is the consummate dog trainer. Working with a particularly difficult and unsocialized dog, he has that dog heeling and paying attention to him in less than 5 minutes. I've seen him do this countless times. He says training a dog is no problem; it's training the owner that is difficult because we tend to be inconsistent. Tom is an outstanding, back to basics trainer as well as a caring individual. I recommend him highly.
